Fall Trends to Request in Your Next Fix

It’s time for a new fall season, going back to school, and preparing for cooler temperatures. Now is the time to refresh you calendar with basics like sweaters, boots and dark jeans. Along with the basic you should add in some key trendy pieces to easily update your wardrobe and keep it fresh. Here are ten of my favorite fall fashion trends to request in your next Stitch Fix.

For those of you that aren’t familiar with Stitch Fix here is a brief summary of the styling subscription service.

Stitch Fix is a personal styling service for women (including plus, petite and maternity), men, and kids. Stitch Fix utilizes an algorithm to help narrow down selections from their inventory based on your style profile, preferences and previous purchases.  A personal stylist then picks the final items that are sent to you. You can receive as many Fixes as you want and as often as you want. If you sign-up for Stitch Fix using my referral link here, you will receive $25 towards your first Fix which will cover the entire $20 styling fee, plus leave $5 towards the rest of your purchase!

If you are a fan of Stitch Fix, you may also want to try these new styling services: Fashom and Allume. If you sign-up for Fashom using my referral link here you will be supporting by blog at no cost to you. Try Allume with my referral link! Use the code FAVORITEHELLO for $10 off a single session, or $20 off any multi-month membership.

I share my experience with both of these styling subscription services in these blog posts:

Let’s get shopping this season’s most popular trends!

Animal Prints

I am seeing animal prints all over Instagram from animal print skirts, shoes and cardigans. Animal prints are definitely an easy way to add some fun to your outfits. Try it in one of the key pieces of your outfit by adding a fun pair of animal print booties, a midi skirt, or light layer.

Pointy Toe Booties

I love booties for fall, and you definitely need at least one pair for the season, if not a few. I’m seeing a lot of pointed toe booties this season which are perfect since they elongate your legs for a classic and polished look. Here are my favorite picks.

Wide Rim Felt Hats

I don’t know an instagram fashion blogger that doesn’t have a wide rim felt hat. And there’s a reason why. They’re fashionable and easy to add to any outfit for an instant trendy fall look. Try it with a simple pair of jeans and shirt to turn it into an anything but basic outfit.
