My Honest Viva Naturals Charcoal Sheet Masks Review
How I Use Them
I love to use the Viva Naturals Charcoal sheet masks 1 to 2 times a week as a way to treat my skin, and to help me unwind and relax. I find them super easy to use, and I can wear them either during a bath, or frequently when I want to mult-task in front of a Netflix show or working on my laptop.
Although there’s four varieties included, every sheet mask variety includes hyaluronic acid, collagen, black tea extract, and spinach extract to support the skin so they mostly have the same ingredients. However, each variety has a unique essential oil added, as follows:
- Soothe: This mask variety includes lavender oil to calm and soothe, so I like to use the Soothe masks when my skin is feeling irritated.
- Brighten: This mask variety includes ylang ylang which is used for stress and anxiety, so I use this variety when I need to mentally de-stress.
- Revitalize: This mask variety includes sweet orange, and is known as a mood enhancer and to improve overall skin complexion, so I use this variety when my skin looks dull.
- Glow: This mask variety includes rose flower oil which is known for aging and dry skin, so I use this variety when my skin is feeling dry and sensitive.
The sheet masks comes as one single sheet. I simply unfold the sheet mask and place it on my face. They are a pretty good size so they no issues covering my entire face.
Also, there’s plenty of serum on the mask so I usually smooth some over my nose, neck, chest, and even my hands with some of the extra serum on the surface of the mask.
After about 20 mins (or more, because sometimes I forget it is so relaxing), I remove the sheet mask, and just rinse my face as usual.
If I have the time, after I remove the sheet mask I will go over my face with my rose quartz facial roller using the remaining serum on my face.
Immediately after, my skin feels smoother, plumper and moisturized.
Are Viva Naturals Masks Worth It?
After using the Viva Naturals Charcoal masks my skin feels plumpers, smoother and brighter. In addition, one of my favorite things I love about these masks are the added essential oils. I instantly feel more relaxed mentally and emotionally calmer due to these ingredients. It’s a great way to relax after a long day to revitalize my skin and mind!
